What You'll Do:
• Take ownership of a major project and present it at the end of the internship to the wider Systems Engineering team.
• Contribute new features added to in-house developed tools.
• Generate insights into system improvements and support senior systems engineers in developing the OneWeb system.
• Deep dive into system problems and validate implemented models with the aid of an online SQL database.
• Adapt and develop modelling tools for team members outside the modeling team to empower them to perform specific analysis.
• Collaborate with software developers to maintain, enhance, and deploy models.
• Produce technical documentation on the current system models.
What It Takes:
• In your penultimate year or beyond of a BEng, BSc, or BA or higher degree in science, engineering, or math.
• Experience in using MATLAB is a must.
What We'd Love:
• Knowledge of communications systems and satellite communications.
• Familiarity with practical engineering projects which involve design simulation and system verification and validation.
• Familiarity with analyzing large data sets.
• Understanding of other coding languages like JULIA and SQL.
• Experience in completing and presenting a major project.
• Professional or academic experience in satellite communications or a related field.
