We're looking for a Sustainable Aviation Lead to join a pioneer in clean technology within the aerospace sector.
As the aviation industry evolves toward net-zero and sustainable practices, this role will be at the forefront, focusing on advancing clean technologies and sustainable solutions in aerospace across the UK and Europe.
In this high-impact position, you'll lead initiatives that drive adoption of sustainable aviation technologies, partnering with key industry players, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to influence the future of flight.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify clean technology opportunities within the aerospace sector, aligning with the company's sustainability goals.
Spearhead the development of strategic partnerships with manufacturers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to support sustainable aviation initiatives.
Lead projects focused on integrating sustainable fuels, electric propulsion, and emissions-reducing technologies, advocating for their adoption across the sector.
Design and implement customized solutions for aerospace partners, ensuring the seamless deployment of cutting-edge technologies.
Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, finance, and marketing, to enhance the company's visibility and influence in sustainable aerospace.
Qualifications: Deep knowledge of clean technology solutions within the aerospace or aviation sectors, particularly in areas such as sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), hybrid or electric propulsion systems, and emissions reduction technologies.
Proven experience in leading high-stakes projects, ideally in partnership with major aerospace stakeholders or industry regulators.
Strong commercial acumen with an innovative approach to problem-solving and strategic growth.
Expertise in managing complex negotiations, with a track record of establishing long-term partnerships.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
