R&D Chemist

R&D ChemistCK Group are recruiting for a R&D Chemist to join a Chemical company at their sites in Wigan on a permanent basis.
This is a Monday to Friday, 8-4pm with a hourly rate of £12.50 per hour.
The Company: Our client is a world leading manufacturer of polymers and specialist synthetic resins.
Location: This role is located at our client's site in Standish, but will also cover their other site in Wigan.
R&D Chemist Role: Your main duties will be: Undertake experimental work in accordance with the R&D ManualRecord all process information regularly and clearly to allow review and generation of commercial process instructionsPreparation of laboratory samplesTesting and evaluation of Raw MaterialsCalibration of equipmentProvide suitable data for transfer purposes Record work and generate reports as requested Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have: Ability to follow chemistry testing techniques Experience working in a busy lab environmentBTEC / HNC in Chemistry (or equivalent Level 4 qualification in chemistry)
