This is an immediate start, full-time, London based hybrid role on a 6-month FTC.
As Supporter Engagement Officer you will be the primary contact point for the charity's supporters and fundraisers to provide excellent customer care.
This role is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious person looking to gain experience working across a variety of fundraising income streams.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Supporter Communications and Fulfilment Be the primary contact point for our supporters and fundraisers to provide excellent customer care Answer supporter enquiries that come in by telephone, email and mail in a way that makes them feel important and valued regardless of the nature of their enquiry Assist in piloting new stewardship journeys for supporters, ensuring that they feel valued and involved in the charity's work.
To work with the team to provide support for key fundraising activities.
This will include assisting with event administration, answering telephone calls, responding to emails, thanking participants, processing donations, sending materials to participants and updating records on the database Monitor our event email inboxes and respond to all enquiries, cover the general fundraising inbox in the absence of the Supporter Engagement Officer Maintain the database and Income Processing Ensure fundraising income (cash, cheques and online platform donations) is processed and recorded correctly onto the database, and thanked in a timely manner Record enquiries, correspondence and responses on the database Record and update non-financial information provided by supporters, such as Gift Aid declarations, data protection opt-outs and other personal information.
