I am recruiting a number of CARING and PASSIONATE Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Young Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs.
The service, which is located in Bristol, supports adults aged 18+ The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
***You do not need to have experience in the care sector, we can support and train you on your journey*** Job Title: Support Worker Salary: £ 24,606.40 - £26,582.00 + £1500 Welcome Bonus Location: Bristol (BS6 postcode) (working to a 2 week rota pattern which typically includes working every other weekend) Overtime is also available.
Hours: Full time / 40 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent Benefits of the Support Worker role: A welcome bonus is payable in 2 payments - 50% following successful completion of probation and 50% after one year of service Full training and continued support The option of working overtime Opportunity to study for a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care which will be funded by us!

You will have the freedom to plan their day in line with their choices and wishes, enabling them to be as independent as possible, seeing them thrive and enjoy making memories You will be providing personal care to residents as well as supporting them in a wide range of learning, development, and social activities including arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips, and fun social occasions.

Ensuring the safety of the service users.
Following care plans for each individual.
Taking service users out into the community.
