Within the Care in the Home division, we support adults with spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury and complex health needs to live in their own homes.
We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at our clients home based in Ruthin.
Contract can be offered after successful probation period.
The role as told from our client: I am looking to hire a suitable candidate to assist me in my own home and with social activities.
This will include two Saturdays a month - 11am until 9pm (10 hour shifts), the candidate must be able to drive my vehicle.
My days will include going out to the pub, restaurants, cinema and spending time assisting me with my drone as well as meeting my friends.
The candidate must be flexible with their times as this may change when I plan to go out to music concerts, however; any changes will be notified in advance.
When you'll be working: X2 nights a week 10pm - 8am x2 Saturdays per month.
What you'll be doing: This role is to support our male client with muscular dystrophy in his own home and out in the community which will involve supporting with personal care, medication, moving and handling and managing clinical equipment.
No previous experience required as full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.
You must be a driver, to drive the clients vehicle.
