It involved the assessment of potential carers and support after approval.
You will be joining an experienced and stable team.
You will need to be a qualified Social Worker and hold a current HCPC registration, recent experience in services for children You will possess a good working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures in relation to fostering and safeguarding.
Support foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children and young people in foster care.
Support and monitor the continued suitability and competence of Foster carers ensuring they provide a safe, healthy, nurturing and learning environment for children/young people.
Ensure that carers fully understand the fostering task, competencies to be achieved and the standards expected, including complaints and representation procedures as detailed in policies/procedures and regulation Provide and record regular supervision to allocated foster cares in line with NCC policies.
Ensure each child and foster parent are fully compliant in respect of all key documentation.
Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
Undertake occasional Form F Assessments.
Attend panel when required.
About YouThe ideal candidate will have: Social work qualification Experience in children and families social work.
