This role is perfect for those who enjoy working across various subjects and year groups, providing continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers. Key Responsibilities of Substitute Teacher: Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment. Support students in their academic development and engagement with lessons.
Provide feedback to the school staff regarding student progress and participation.
Adapt to different classroom settings and maintain a high standard of teaching. Requirements for the role of Substitute Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification is preferred. Previous experience in teaching or classroom management is advantageous. Strong communication and organisational skills. A flexible and proactive approach to working in diverse school environments.
