These include (but are not limited to): One+ 1 Programme Black Heritage Talent Insight Programme Social Mobility Talent Insight Programme Abilities Talent Insight Programme KPMG Discovery The post holder will be required to work with a number of teams across the firm to ensure that our work experience programmes are well designed and provide the appropriate guidance and support to students during their placement.
The post holder will be required to establish the appropriate policies and procedures, together with working with external partnerships to ensure that the programmes meet objectives.
The post holder will also oversee our Student Post Offer strategy, driving candidate engagement until day one of their programme.
This is a challenging and pivotal role, requiring exceptional organisational and project management skills with a clear desire to deliver to both internal stakeholders and candidates.
What will you be doing?
Recruitment Operations Establish effective processes for work experience and post offer strategy, working with the management team to obtain stakeholder approval.
Supporting the Assistant Manager in ensuring an effective post offer strategy is delivered.
Supporting the Assistant Manager by delivering and reviewing work experience programme design, recruitment and delivery.
Oversee coordination and lead in the delivery of work experience programmes.
Effectively monitor success of post offer and work experience programmes.
Manage the work experience candidate journey from application through to participation in the programme and post-programme offer conversions, reviewing pipelines and predicting outcomes to meet targets.
Progress applications through the recruitment process in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and providing regular reporting.
Delivering a positive candidate journey by acting as a point of contact for candidates in their pipelines and responding to general telephone and inbox enquiries in line with SLAs.
Business Liaison Be the point of contact for all queries, including KPMG senior stakeholders, ensuring that these are dealt with professionally.
Organise volunteers to deliver sessions for post offer and work experience, supporting them in ensuring the aim of the session is met.
Working with other KBS teams including People Centre and Onboarding to ensure that necessary processes are in place for work experience students, and that candidates and sponsors have a positive experience.
Work with the IDE and with Corporate Responsibility teams to ensure successful delivery of relevant work experience programmes.
Recruitment Attraction Manage key partnership relationships to ensure that we achieve required diversity across our programmes.
Supporting the management team so that we adopt appropriate attraction strategies to fill our programmes with best talent from a diverse talent pool.
Liaison with Student Recruitment and Brand & Attraction teams to ensure that programmes are marketed effectively.
What will you need to do it?
Experience of student marketplace, with a passion for IDE and social mobility.
Detail oriented, with good project management skills and a keen eye for detail.
Strong ability to work in a team, leading others to achieve a common goal.
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage challenging conversations.
Drive and commitment.
A confident and engaging presenter.
Good IT skills including Excel, Power Point, databases, and internet research.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Flexibility to work within a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt to change quickly and positively.
Forward thinking and proactive approach.
Whilst this role is a hybrid of office and home based, you will be required to travel to KPMG offices and events around the country – this will require overnight stays on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.
