The Digital Health Software and Platforms (DHSP) team within the Centre for Health Informatics (CHI) at the University of Manchester is a team of software and infrastructure engineers, designers, project managers, health informaticians, and researchers.
We have successfully developed a number of innovative digital health technologies that aim to improve patient care across multiple health conditions.
Details of the projects that we have and are currently working on can be found here: https://sites.manchester.ac.uk/digital-health-software/ We are seeking a School of Health Sciences (SHS) Research Officer to provide administrative support to the software team for a range of digital projects in health research.
You will have the opportunity to become involved in many aspects of the software projects, and offer support for the team.
This will include organising meetings, helping to manage finances and ensuring key documentation and processes are kept up to date.
This is a hands-on administrative role, where you will interact with many teams across the university, including research support and finance.
This is an exciting role with the scope to develop your skills.
You will work across several health research projects and will be supported by an experienced software and management team.
The Centre hosts a number of public engagement events and software workshops which you will be eligible to contribute to, if you wish to do so.
These events showcase how our software makes a difference to the lives of patients across health and social care settings.
The successful candidate will have access to a broad research knowledge base and will be invited to attend regular seminars and events related to health research.
We are looking for a talented, self-motivated individual with the ability to produce deliverables to agreed timelines, who can provide administrative support to the software team and to the projects we develop.

You will be based at the University of Manchester, with the possibility of occasional travel to work with partner Universities or NHS organisations.
