About the Role This is a forward-thinking and highly motivated service who work closely with a wide range of partners to help protect and strengthen communities and places in the borough of Rochdale.
You will support a number of senior responsible officers associated with our local multi-agency Rochdale Safer Communities Partnership (RSCP) in order to discharge relevant community safety duties.
This will include working with partners from the police, fire, probation and health.
With the support of our Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering on a number of planned projects over the next 12 months which will include overseeing the undertaking of a strategic needs assessments and also supporting the refresh of partnership strategies and delivery plans.
In order to successfully deliver on the above you will need to oversee the collation and analysis of intelligence, management information and statistical data to inform service improvement and evidence based practice.
It is therefore essential that you have experience of analysing, interpreting and communicating data.
About you You will also be responsible for developing our reducing serious violence partnership plan, working closely with the Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit and also overseeing the delivery of planned serious violence projects due to be delivered in Rochdale by partners in 2025.
You will need to be an excellent communicator with excellent report writing and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for a range of internal and external stakeholders.
This is a full time post but consideration will be given for part-time working hours for the successful candidate.
