Business Analysis and Consulting Manager Leader in eCommerce and Product Information Management (PIM) solutions, delivering innovative digital experiences and seamless business operations for our clients.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analysis and Consulting Lead/Manager to lead our Business Analysis team and support our client projects with expertise in requirements gathering, operational efficiency, and team management.
Role Overview Responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities of the Business Analysis (BA) team.
This role includes overseeing requirements gathering processes across pre-sales, project discovery, and project delivery stages.
You will ensure consistency and quality in BA deliverables while supporting the team through mentoring, guidance, and ensuring successful client engagements.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management Lead and manage the Business Analysis team, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and delivering quality service.
Define and track team objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics to maintain and improve team effectiveness.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement development plans for each BA team member.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, encouraging knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Create and implement a mentoring program to support junior and mid-level BAs, focusing on skill development, career growth, and knowledge transfer.
Manage resource allocation across multiple projects, balancing workload and prioritizing team needs.
Requirements Gathering & Process Management Oversee and refine requirements gathering practices and templates used across the organization.
Ensure high standards in requirements documentation across all stages of the project lifecycle (pre-sales, project discovery, and delivery).
Collaborate with pre-sales teams to understand client needs and translate those into actionable requirements for project teams.
Ensure that project requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated, and that all stakeholders understand the scope and deliverables.
Regularly review and improve requirements gathering methodologies and processes to keep them aligned with best practices and industry standards.
Client Engagement & Discovery Participate in client discovery sessions to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
Support or manage the facilitation of workshops, interviews, and other discovery activities to gather comprehensive business requirements.
Work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are effectively captured, communicated, and managed.
Provide consulting support to clients during the discovery phase, ensuring that solutions are aligned with business goals and objectives.
Ensure that client-facing BAs are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to deliver successful outcomes.
Project Support & Oversight Provide oversight and guidance to BAs working on client projects, ensuring that requirements are aligned with project goals and timelines.
Monitor the progress of requirements gathering and help resolve any roadblocks or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Ensure that BA team members are maintaining consistent communication with clients and internal teams to manage expectations and prevent scope creep.
Review and approve BA deliverables, ensuring that they meet the company's quality standards and client expectations.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the BA function to streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and increase client satisfaction.
Develop and maintain best practice frameworks, tools, and templates for requirements gathering and business analysis.
Stay up to date with industry trends, methodologies, and best practices to keep the BA team at the forefront of the eCommerce and PIM solutions industry.
Ensure compliance with company policies, methodologies, and industry standards in all business analysis practices Skills & Experience Essential Proven experience in a senior business analysis or consulting role, preferably in eCommerce, PIM, OMS, Search, Merchandising, Generative AI solutions, or related digital transformation sectors.
Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts.
Expertise in business requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design in the context of eCommerce, PIM or online retail ecosystem solutions.
Experience with pre-sales activities, client discovery, and managing client expectations throughout project lifecycles.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage complex requirements.
Familiarity with agile and waterfall project management methodologies, and experience in managing requirements within both frameworks.
Desirable Experience in creating and leading a mentoring program for junior team members.
Understanding of digital business transformation, PIM, and eCommerce platform technologies.
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms for requirements management and collaboration.
Relevant certifications (eg, CBAP, PMI-PBA, etc.)
are a plus.
