About the role The Staffing Officer will support the current team comprising of a Senior Staffing Officer, one Staffing Officer and a Staffing Assistant, as part of the provision of an effective and efficient Human Resources and Staffing service across the faculty.
The post is generalist focused with a variety of responsibilities and will take a key role in delivering a comprehensive and effective HR and staffing service to all members of staff in the faculty.
The post-holder will also actively ensure all staff are aware and adhere to HR policies and procedures as well as providing advice across the spectrum of areas outlined in the Job Description.

About you The following are some of the essential requirements for this role: A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4/5 or above including English and Maths or equivalent or having acquired relevant HR administrative experience.
Experience of working within Human Resources , operations, payroll or recruitment providing effective HR support in a busy office environment.
An understanding of the confidential nature of the work with the ability to deal with sensitive information in a professional, discreet manner.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to liaise and interact with a variety of people at all levels of the faculty and University.
