Job summary Undertake the provision of nursing care with support from senior colleagues within the Gynaecology Assessment Unit and ward 23 Gynaecology inpatient Ward.

Will assist in the supervision of junior nursing staff and, where applicable, the teaching of learner nurses.
Will be required to participate in the implementation of audit and quality initiatives.

Responsible and accountable for the assessing, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
This will be achieved by using a patient centered approach in the provision of care in order to meet the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.

Accountable and responsible for acute and legible record keeping in accordance with local policies with due regard to NMC guidelines.
