Job summary This Outpatients Department covers three sites, City, Sandwell and Rowley Regis Hospital.We have many specialties within our department, such as Vascular, General Surgery, ENT and Rheumatology being just a fewThe successful candidate would be a highly motivated individual and have flexibility with their work patterns.
They will be well organized and be able to adapt quickly to change.
To be friendly and to have an open attitude a must.The successful candidate will in return have a challenging but rewarding offer 4-6 months mentorship where you will gain valuable knowledge and Knowledge of Vascular dressings and ENT an advantage.
Main duties of the job To ensure a safe and timely patient experience including thesmooth running of the department in the absence of the managerOrdering of departmental stock and equipment, be aware of budget constraints and assist withdepartmental Audits when asked.To supervise the work of student nurses and support workersTo ensure patient care and safety is evaluated whilst on dutyTo be responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation andevaluation of programmes of care without direct supervision.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential RN (Adult) with current NMC registration Desirable Any other relevant qualifications Experience Essential Clinical experience including exposure to Medical & Surgical areas Desirable Relevant clinical experience since registration Experience in an Outpatient setting
