Sports Teaching Assistant Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School in Old Trafford, who are looking for a Sports Teaching Assistant to join their team in February, until the end of the academic year (July 2025).
The school is based in Old Trafford, and is surrounded by various public transport options, including bus routes and tram links, which go in and out of the city centre.
However, there is a staff car park that is easily accessible.
The working hours for this role are 8:00am – 3:00pm.
The role itself will involve supporting teachers across the PE Department of the school and it is essential that candidates are approachable and outgoing in order to connect with students from a variety of backgrounds.
Applicants should have confidence in their ability to work 1:1 and with smaller groups of students.
It is essential that candidates are flexible and organised so that they can offer high levels of support to encourage students who are passionate about sport.
It would be beneficial for applicants to have previous experience supporting students or young adults.
