Teaching Personnel are working alongside Local Authorities and Virtual Schools to provide support to students in Functional Skills Maths and English.
Majority of the students that we support have varying challenges, including behavioural challenges, SEN and looked after children.
Our goal is to help provide out students with the skills required to succeed later in life. We are looking for dedicated tutors to provide face to face tuition to vulnerable pupils in Towcester and the surrounding areas.
About The Role of a Functional Skills Tutor: Involves working one to one with pupils or within a small group.

Functional skills and emotional support What do we look for in our Functional Skills Tutors: Tutors experienced working with students who require emotional support.
Ability to plan, produce and deliver sessions in Functional Skills English and Maths SEN experience is desirable as we have a lot of roles come through for children who need additional support.
Requirements: We are a national company so you will have access to an increased volume of tuition work.
Once registered you will have a dedicated consultant who will explain how tuition works and how your journey will look with TP tutors.
Face to face and online tuition options available to suit your availability with tuition available during the school day or after school.
Referrals to support primary, secondary and post 16 aged students with subject specific areas.
Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs or alternate provision setting or without a school place and fall under the local authority awaiting a suitable school place.
Bespoke online reporting platform- 24/7 access to enable you to log immediate attendance details, feedback and assessments.
Online classroom platform- to enable you to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment.
This platform offers all the tools you will require to deliver online tuition and is recorded for safeguarding purposes and for revision purposes.
Hourly rate of £25- £30 which is paid weekly Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.
