This ASD tutor role is ideal if you are a newly qualified teacher, teaching assistant, SEN one-to-one or have any experience working with children looking for flexible work across the West Northamptonshire area.
Working hours are flexible between Monday-Friday, and within school hours.
This role involves- Planning and delivering personalised tutoring lessons /sensory sessions tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of individuals on the autism spectrum.
Working with children with ASD and providing face to face support within their home as well as across the local community.
Managing challenging behaviour by implementing behavioural interventions and strategies.
Planning resources around the child's needs, this could be developing their knowledge in Maths and English or learning through play.
Collaborating closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to support.
What we are looking for in an ASD Tutor- SEN experience (as teaching assistant, one-to-one or any other) Able to plan and deliver engaging, nurturing, and sensory sessions.
Applying skills to raise pupils' confidence and learning.
Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders, including an understanding of sensory processing, communication, and social interaction challenges.
Checking that pupils are on track to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide feedback.

An hourly rate of £25 to £30, depending on your experience and qualifications.
13 weeks off per year.
