Senior Software EngineerLocation: Hybrid (1 day per week in office, rest remote)Salary: £60-70k per annum (pro-rata), fixed-term contract until March About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to an ambitious high-speed connectivity project.
You'll lead the software efforts for a demonstration of an advanced communications network that is set to transform connectivity in a fast-paced environment.
This role includes the refinement of an Engineering Graphical User Interface and the integration of cutting-edge hardware, providing a hands-on opportunity to shape a complex system from the ground up.About the CompanyOur client is a leader in developing advanced connectivity solutions tailored to mobile environments.
They are currently in the Research and Development phase of an innovative project that involves networked control systems and Real Time performance monitoring.
The project utilizes trackside and onboard technology, including networked microcomputers, to maintain high-speed connectivity.
With a mix of specialized tools and modern software, this organization is creating solutions to improve connectivity for mobile users.What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, ideally with a background in Real Time control systems or networked Embedded devices.
Familiarity with graphical user interfaces, network communication protocols, and Python is essential, and experience with CDP Studio IDE is highly beneficial.
You should be adept at troubleshooting, optimizing, and deploying software solutions and be comfortable preparing and leading private trials and demonstrations.What's on Offer*Competitive Salary: £60-70k per annum (pro-rata), based on experience.
