Key job responsibilities As a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II), you'll lead engineering design and development with a team of engineers and product partners. To succeed in this role, you believe in high standards for code quality, code reviews, testing, and operational excellence. You create mechanisms for achieving results and iterating improvements and can lead projects end to end while working with and through other engineers to deliver results, with the autonomy to build the right solution from Day One. About the team Are you ready to take on the challenge of controlling and tracking billions of packages for Amazon customers worldwide? We own the customer-facing Package Tracking page as well as its backend services, providing an accurate answer to the customer's question: "Where is my stuff?" Our team caters to numerous internal clients, making delivery tracking easily accessible across Amazon's flagship pages and products.

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
