As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering social work services to individuals with mental health needs.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, risks, and strengths, developing individualized care plans to address their unique situations.Case Management: Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely interventions and ongoing support throughout their treatment journey.Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention during crises, working to stabilize clients and connect them with appropriate services.Safeguarding: Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults and children.Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the mental health system, empowering them to make informed choices about their care.Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions, assessments, and care plans in line with professional standards and organizational policies.Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work.Registration: Current registration with Social Work England.Experience: Proven experience working in mental health, preferably within a social work or multidisciplinary team.Skills:Strong understanding of mental health issues and the challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions.Excellent assessment, planning, and case management skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle emotionally challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.Additional Requirements:Enhanced DBS check.Full clean driving license (if applicable).Randstad Care acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
