Job Description The  Social Media Consultant  holds a pivotal position within the social media team, responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, executing advanced social media strategies, producing editorial content, running paid campaigns, and delivering reports.
This role requires exceptional communication and writing skills to effectively carry out day-to-day client deliverables and act as a reliable partner to both internal and external stakeholders.
The Social Media Consultant is expected to ensure all client deliveries meet or exceed the expectations established by department leaders, making certain that all aspects of client engagement are executed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities Function as social media point of contact and subject matter expert to a portfolio of assigned accounts.
Grow audiences, generate traffic and increase engagements through organic and paid content to support our clients' goals.
Be at the forefront of our organic and paid social media strategy, looking to adopt new ideas and enhance service offerings to support clients' needs and use competitor analysis and 3rd party data to benchmark our performance and influence our future strategy.
Balance creative/content with performance, ensuring that organic social not only drives performance for our clients but also enhances the candidate/employer experience and enables engaging storytelling.
Create and deliver clear, regular reports showcasing performance insights and identifying how these insights inform future content.
Produce high standards for quality output and ensure that processes deliver quality for our brands and efficiency from a team perspective.
Demonstrate good verbal and visual presentation skills.
Be able to lead meetings and present plans/strategies to multiple stakeholders – both internal and external.
Manage the paid social budget to execute top and bottom of funnel campaigns for assigned clients to fuel the wider strategy and support other marketing efforts.
Develop proposals for paid media campaigns for potential clients and generate innovative concepts and strategies that align with their specific objectives.
Work closely with creative teams to ensure social content is taking full advantage of features and functions in use by the major platforms and adhere to brand standards.
Keep teams apprised of relevant trends and digital opportunities that can add value to our clients and to our teams.
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content to expand brand reach, experience, and reputation.
Partner with other teams on client activations, campaigns, projects, and toolkits, collaborating to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate action.
Monitor and respond to comments and reviews across social media and reputation sites.
(glassdoor and indeed) Act as a mentor to Social Media Specialists on best practices and share key insights to help educate Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate data, insights and best practices.
Qualifications Education : - Bachelor's degree (Business, Communications, Journalism, or relevant field, preferred) Experience : 3+ years in social media experience, in-house or at an agency Paid social media advertising, audience creation, budget allocation, execution, reporting and optimization experience.
Strong organizational, project management and collaborations skills Experienced at using analytics tools and social listening to evaluate social media activity.
Understanding and experience of Employee Advocacy and Candidate engagement Experience working alongside brand/marketing teams and executing plans through the creation of social-first content and campaigns.
Able to stay up to date with the latest social media trends, channels and tools.
Able to produce high standard client materials, content calendar, strategies and reports.
Proven experience driving growth through different owned social channels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency with social networking sites such as META, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X and emerging platforms Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation and communication skills.
Eye for design and experience using Canva, or video editing tools Hands-on experience with social tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinklr and Brandwatch Ability to demonstrate thought leadership and lead clients and stakeholders to effective engagement with social media best practices.
  Position specifics: remote role, available for hire to candidates based across the UK.
