Our client is a leading bespoke precast concrete manufacturer, known for delivering high-quality, custom-made concrete products to a diverse range of clients.
They are now looking to expand their skilled team with an experienced Shuttering Joiner.
As a Shuttering Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork (shutters) used to create moulds for concrete structures.
This role is vital in producing bespoke, high-quality precast concrete components to meet specific design requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
Construct and install timber, plywood, and metal formwork for precast concrete moulds.
Ensure all shuttering work meets the highest standards of accuracy and finish.
Collaborate with the factory production team to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
Inspect and repair formwork, ensuring it is reusable where appropriate.
Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner, preferably within the precast concrete industry.
Strong understanding of formwork systems and construction techniques.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and plans.
Excellent woodworking skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to the role.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical fitness, as the role requires manual handling and standing for long periods.
