Senior Windows Engineer (Devops)

We are currently seeking a Senior Windows Engineer with a strong DevOps focus to join our client's dynamic IT team.
In this critical role, you will enhance the reliability of their Windows platform by leveraging automation and DevOps best practices to optimize both on-premise and Azure infrastructure.
You will be instrumental in implementing infrastructure as code, developing robust PowerShell systems, and collaborating closely with IT and DevOps teams to ensure a resilient and scalable environment.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop automated PowerShell systems to enhance platform reliability and streamline operational tasks.
Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Salt, Ansible, or Microsoft DSC to reduce manual overhead and ensure consistency.
Integrate DevOps practices by building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for continuous deployment and process automation.
Utilize log aggregation and monitoring systems (e.g., ELK stack, Splunk) to provide visibility and proactive incident management.
Manage Veeam backups programmatically, incorporating them into the broader DevOps strategy for business continuity.
Ideal Candidate Profile: 10+ years of experience in Microsoft-based technology engineering, with a focus on DevOps and automation.
Demonstrated expertise in implementing monitoring solutions and configuration as code for Windows environments.
Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation, with experience in orchestrating tasks using platforms like Jenkins.
Hands-on experience with event log aggregation using systems like the ELK stack or Splunk.
Proven experience managing automated backup solutions such as Veeam within a DevOps framework.
A strong understanding of DevOps principles, including scalability, high availability, and security best practices.
