Job Description Senior Staff Nurse An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and innovative Senior Staff Nurse to join our existing ward and Day surgery unit at Rowley Hall Hospital.

Duties Include Demonstrate outstanding clinical practice at all times and to be accountable for own actions.
Prioritise workloads and deliver high standards of care at all times.
Assess, plan and evaluate care based on individual patient and family needs.
Work alongside MDT to maximise effectiveness of service delivery.
Continually seek to develop clinical skills and delivery of care to meet service users needs.
Risk assessment and management, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and colleagues.
Clinically shift lead the department.
Lead the department in the absence of the Ward Manager.
Take on link roles ie: Infection prevention, ANTT, Health and safety and Audits.
Support the ward manager in the running of the department.
Support and act as a role model for Junior staff, encouraging a learning environment, assessing training needs and ensuring these are met.
What you'll bring with you: NMC Registered general Nurse Surgical Nursing experience Willingness to learn and grow in the role Adheres to Ramsay Values Excellent communication skills Experience and confidence in effectively meeting compliance to the government framework.
Comprehensive understanding of legal and professional care/practice standards and evidence of ongoing professional development in nursing practice.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
