Senior Solutions Architect - Auto OEM, Auto & ManufacturingAmazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. You will partner with some of the world's largest Automotive and Manufacturing companies to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with account managers, you will assist in driving growth across a set of global customers in your defined country. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a solutions architect. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
Key Job Responsibilities: Ownership of the technical relationship with customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best-practice architectures.Acting as an advocate for customers to help drive continual improvements to the AWS platform, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features and services.Helping to shape the future of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others.Linking technology to tangible solutions and defining or inventing cloud-native reference architectures with the worldwide AWS Solutions Architect community.Participating in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts).Evangelizing and educating about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences. Minimum Qualifications: Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
