Job title: Software Assurance Engineer Salary: Competitive DOE Location: VariousA multinational British security and defence company are now looking for multiple Software Assurance Engineers to join their team.
As a software assurance engineer, you will be providing independent technical assessment of safety critical software for the aerospace industry for new projects, and following the regular software/hardware upgrades these aircraft receive throughout their service.Key skills and experience: Strong software development experience or software assurance (preferred) background.C/C++ programming experienceSafety critical engineering & associated standards (DO178b/c, Def Stan 00-056 / 00-055, IEC61508, ED-12b/c).Comfortable challenging engineers on their work to ensure the highest quality of work.SC cleared or clearable (SOLE BRITISH ONLY)Experience across the full software development cycle.Provide highly detail technical documentation for review.
