Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Project Quantity Surveyor | Data Centres Our client are an international Design & Build contractor and provider of choice for specialist fit-out services and turnkey packages across growth segments such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and renewable projects.

Operating across the UK, Ireland and Europe, they're renowned for delivering bespoke technical environments for world leading clients.

Role Purpose The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work across various contracts ensuring the maximum commercial benefit for the company, entailing a cradle to grave delivery from tender stage through to final accounts.

Responsibilities Accountable for all aspects of surveying and commercial functions on projects.
Preparation and updating of contact budget.
Responsible for contractual and legal aspects of project.
Liaison with Surveying Manager.
Administration of contract records.
Production of monthly JCR's and JCS's.
Attendance at contractor handover meeting.
Attendance at bi-weekly contract review meetings.
Updating of cash reporting and collection.
Identification of risks and completion of risk management plan.
Relationship with clients, supply chain and professional team.
Qualifications and Experience BSc in Quantity Surveying.
Ability to form good working relationships with all stakeholders.
Knowledge and understanding of subcontract/material orders and procurement.
Preparation and understanding of commercial reports.
Knowledge of health and safety, quality procedures and construction industry.
