Job DescriptionSenior Quantity SurveyorThis is a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering specialist contractor and work on some exciting civil engineering projects across the North East area of England, to be based in the Darlington Office and on site working on highways projects.This is a career enhancing opportunity with a company who offer great development and progression opportunities and is known as an employer who put their people first.Key responsibilities for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:• Price and submission of quotations for works on maintenance contracts• Manage subcontract supply chain, issuing orders assessing Subcontract AFPs and the processing of payments• Liaise with operational staff including clients and subcontractors• Assessment and submission of quotations / compensation events• Ensure scheme costs are correct on cost system (Nav13) and raise and queries where necessaryExperience required for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:• Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification / experience• Experience of NEC3/4• Experience of working as a Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractor• Demonstrable record of supporting the commercial team managing complex, high value contractsPackage offered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:• Up to £60,000 negotiable based on experience• Excellent pension• Generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays• A number of other great benefits
