We are seeking a goal-oriented, entrepreneurial, and motivated individual to take on the role of Senior Product Manager, Separation Science. The Senior Product Manager will directly support the development of our product portfolio vision and through the utilization of Voice of Customer develop clear and concise business cases with limited support prioritizing product requirements.
The Senior Product Manager will be able to deliver oral presentations to Senior Leadership, customers, cross-functional teams, and other groups as needed. A strong technical background coupled with solid business acumen are essential for success. This position will either be a remote role or located at our Torrance, CA site.
What we'll get you doing: Develop and present opportunities for new product development and current product improvements to Senior OpCo Leadership. Support the execution of product life cycle management, product road map, positioning and pricing for products within the industry. Member of a project core team responsible to develop Business Cases, Customer Product Requirements, Support Launch Strategy, Revenue and Volume Forecasts, and Commercialization Execution Plans. Perform ongoing voice-of-customer (VOC) interactions with key internal and external customers globally to outline workflows, understand problems, obtain feedback on new and existing products, and identify solutions. Supports VIP and key customer interactions as needed. Work cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other supporting functions in the execution of new product and sustaining projects, as well as the day-to-day management of the existing portfolio of products. The essential requirements of the role include: Bachelor's degree with 6+ years' experience or MBA/Master's degree with 4+ years' experience or Doctorate in field with 2+ years'. 2+ years working knowledge of practical HPLC workflows and hands-on experience in liquid chromatographic instrumentation like HPLC-UV, UHPLC-UV, and LC/MS or other chromatography and sample preparation techniques is desired. Able to work as a productive member of a team in a matrix organization with the ability to adapt and handle competing departmental needs. Executive presence and interaction skills, with ability to influence decisions across all levels of an organization including strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Travel potentially up to 30%. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Previous experience in product management, market development, technical customer management, or product development is highly desirable. The salary range for this role is $106,400 - $160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
