Due to our continued growth journey, we are looking for a talented PR & Social Media Manager to lead our PR, social media and content creation efforts.

WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE?
This is an incredible opportunity for a talented PR & Social Media manager to join a rapidly scaling business at an exciting period in our journey.
Working closely with our external PR agency, you'll lead our PR, social media and content creation efforts.
This role will involve developing and executing strategies that enhance the Defaqto brand presence.
You'll also support the wider marketing team with content production related to our campaigns and other initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO 1.
Collaborate with the external PR agency to develop and execute a full calendar of PR strategies and activities that align with our business goals.

Manage the external PR agency, including reviewing and refining PR materials.

Monitor and report on coverage, providing guidance to the agency around key messaging, internal initiatives and communication opportunities 4.
Assist the CMO in managing potential PR crises, coordinating with the PR agency to craft appropriate responses.

Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with PR campaigns, brand and product initiatives.
6.
Lead the hands-on content production process, working closely with our internal Insights team and in-house graphic designer to create high-quality visual and written content.
7.
Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of all assets and that all content aligns with our brand guidelines.
8.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product development, competitor messaging, and customer challenges.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Excellent external agency management experience At least 5 years' experience delivering B2B and B2C relevant experience Proficiency in social media platforms, CMS and analytical tools Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills Planning and project management skills Positive, entrepreneurial approach WAYS OF WORKING Your office base will be in London EC1 or Haddenham (London Marylebone to Oxford line) on a hybrid basis.
You will be expected to be in the office 2 to 3 times a week.
