Senior Paralegal – Ip/Patents (Head Of Department)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Senior IP Paralegal to join a multi-national law firm as the Head of Department. This permanent, full-time position is based in the London office (on a hybrid basis).
In this role, the successful candidate will manage a team of paralegals, delivering work to both Lawyers and external clients. This will include day-to-day supervision, training, development, and management of direct reports.
The main focus of this role is day-to-day formal line management, particularly in relation to:
AbsencePerformanceConductDisciplinary issuesOur client is looking for someone with extensive pastoral management experience, working as a lead in a Paralegal team.
Although this role relates to Patent issues, this is not essential. However, extensive general litigation experience is crucial along with the above criteria.
This lucrative role will be performed on a hybrid basis, with 3 days a week in the office. Although excellent academics are always welcome, the key factor in this role is relevant experience due to the seniority and responsibility of the position. Only the very best candidates with approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience at well-known law firms will be considered.
