Our client is a well-respected children's hospice that provides specialist care and nursing for babies, children, and young people with complex medical needs.
With a state-of-the-art facility set in a beautiful nature reserve, the hospice offers a unique environment where children can explore, play, and build confidence while receiving the highest standard of care.
As a Senior Children's Nurse, you will: - Provide direct line management support to Band 5 Nurses and Band 3 + 4 Specialist Carers.
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the hospice, children's homes, or community settings.
- Plan and review care in collaboration with families to ensure safety and advocacy.
- Ensure fun, sensitivity, and compassion are integral to the care provided.
- Administer medications and maintain the nutritional status of all children.
- Participate in governance activities, including incident reporting and resource management.
- Offer training and development opportunities to staff and family members.
Package and Benefits: - Annual salary of up to £49,976, based on experience.

The ideal Senior Children's Nurse candidate will have: - Registration as a Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch).
- Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 level.
- Experience in nursing children with life-limiting conditions.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to the hospice's values of kindness, excellence, and courage.
