Senior Network Engineer

Role: Sr. Network Engineer Location: London, UK Type: Permanent Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in network engineering, with expertise in large-scale, enterprise-level networks.
Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, etc.
), routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks products , including next-gen firewalls (PA-Series), Panorama, and cloud-based security solutions.
Expertise in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetFlow, or other network performance management tools.
Experience with SD-WAN technologies and other modern networking approaches.
Solid understanding of network security principles and experience implementing secure networks (firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, etc.).
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Ansible) to automate network tasks and configurations.
Certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer), or equivalent certifications are strongly preferred.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud network architectures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
