Breakin' Convention is the critically acclaimed powerhouse behind a hip-hop theatre revolution, through its international festivals and professional development programme, we have over the last 20 years witnessed the development of UK hip hop artists and companies, who have gone on to win prestigious awards, and become world renowned.
We're looking for a Marketing Officer to bring audiences to hip hop culture.
The Senior Marketing Officer should be well-versed in hip hop dance – as well as other elements of hip hop culture and current trends – ensuring that all marketing strategies resonate authentically with the audience.
Your appreciation of this genre and ability to prepare and deliver effective and engaging marketing campaigns is exactly why this role is for you.
This role requires someone who understands social media marketing across the main platforms where hip hop culture thrives and can develop compelling / engaging content.
You will be skilled in creating compelling content to raise Breakin' Convention's online presence.
You collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful promotion of events and activities.
If you have a deep appreciation for hip-hop culture and a proven track record in innovative marketing, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you'll do This role will involve: Crafting strategies to enhance Sadlers' visibility and drive engagement with Breakin' Convention's diverse programme.
Working collaboratively to implement campaigns for the Breakin' Convention activity including international festivals and tours, professional development projects and performances, education projects and one-off bespoke projects such as site specific events such as London's annual Breakin' Convention Festival.
Managing all Breakin' Convention social media sites and more!
What you'll bring Experience of working on Marketing and/or Communications for an arts or entertainment organisation with demonstratable results.
Experience of coordinating digital marketing campaigns.
Experience using Photoshop and basic video editing skills.
