Senior Legal Counsel - International Bank - Consumer Regulation

Hydrogen are working on an exciting opportunity with a leading financial institution who are looking to hire a lawyer with consumer regulation experience to join their highly regarded legal team as a Senior Legal Counsel to be based out of their Birmingham office.
Key Responsibilities: Provide legal advice in relation to key products including current accounts, overdrafts, savings and FX products.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product, operations, and risk teams, to provide legal relevant legal advice.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to move in-house where they can broaden their focus to covering a range of banking products and regulations.
Requirements: Admitted to practice as a solicitor in England & Wales with ideally 4+ years PQE gained in-house or within private practice.
Experience gained in a leading regulatory team with experience advising on key regulations including BCOB's, PSR's and CCA.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate legal risks.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
