We're partnering with a globally recognised brand to recruit for a pivotal role within their UK team.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, focusing on real estate matters, with the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the business.The OpportunityIn this role, you'll provide expert legal advice and counsel to management and partners, ensuring the smooth handling of all real estate-related matters.
From acquisitions to portfolio management, you'll play a key role in shaping the business's real estate strategy while upholding its core values and principles.You'll manage external legal spend, collaborate with global teams, and have the chance to lead initiatives that ensure consistency and efficiency in legal processes.
If you're passionate about real estate law and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary legal advisor for real estate matters, including acquisitions, construction, and facilities management.Draft and negotiate a wide range of real estate contracts, including leases and licenses.Manage and oversee the work of external counsel, setting and monitoring budgets.Collaborate with global and UK teams to align real estate strategy with corporate objectives.Provide training and guidance to internal teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Drive cross-functional projects and streamline processes to enhance efficiency.What We're Looking ForA qualified solicitor in England and Wales with strong post-qualification experience in real estate law.Proven expertise in commercial real estate transactions, including landlord and tenant work.Retail sector experience is highly desirable.Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a track record of managing multiple priorities.Experience in managing external counsel and controlling legal budgets.Why Apply?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile organisation and make a tangible impact.
