What you'll do In April 2024, Vodafone announced the creation of a new division called Vodafone Investments which is responsible for managing Vodafone's interests in its non-wholly owned assets with a mandate to drive value creation and prevent value leakage.
The Lead Counsel B2T is responsible for supporting the Group GC, Vodafone Investments Director and the wider Investments team in delivery and management of the 'Business to Telco' aka B2T entities included within Vodafone Investments.
Vodafone B2T includes: Vodafone UK / Three Vodafone Italy / Swisscom Vodafone Spain / Zegona The Lead Counsel B2T will support day 1 preparation for M&A deals and ensure capabilities are in place to manage contracts in life.
They will provide legal advisory to enable our cross-functional capability to sell, deliver and manage transformed Group Services to B2T partners.
Provide expert legal advice and strategic business partnering to the B2T entity (UK / Spain / Italy), Vodafone Investments Director and the Legal & Business Integrity Leadership Team members.
Responsible for advising on Vodafone B2T and structuring and negotiating related strategic programmes.
Provide legal advice to board directors and senior business stakeholders on complex contractual matters, ensuring contractual compliance.
Develop strong business partner relationships with key leaders across Vodafone Investments, Legal & Business Integrity, Group External Affairs, Vodafone Local Markets, Commercial Shared Operations and Vodafone Business to enable value delivery in an effective, efficient and compliant way.
Who you are Legally qualified with significant experience gained either in-house or at a leading law firm Strong drafting and negotiating experience, with ability to provide innovative legal solutions in a fast-moving industry Professional level fluency in written and spoken English Experienced manager of diverse teams with a strong track record on engagement.
Highly experienced lawyer, with M&A Law / post deal implementation experience as well as knowledge of telecoms industry.

Discretionary yearly bonus: 10% Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year Charity days: 5 days/year Maternity/adoption leave: 52 weeks out of which the first 13 weeks are fully paid followed by 26 weeks of half pay and 6 months - working 4 days, getting paid 5 Paternity leave: 16 weeks fully paid Private pension: You can contribute up to 5% of your basic pay with 2:1 matching from Vodafone up to 10%.
