We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Kitchen Manager to lead our team across four kitchens within our hotels.
This full-time, permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact, focusing on people leadership, standards, and processes.
Reporting to the Head of Department, the ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills, high attention to detail (particularly in safety), and a passion for developing and coaching teams.
This role is primarily focused on people management, safety, and operational standards rather than culinary expertise.

Lead and inspire the kitchen leadership team to meet the highest operational and safety standards.
Manage team scheduling to meet labour targets and ensure efficient use of resources.
Provide the team with the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties effectively.
Coach, motivate, and develop kitchen staff, with a focus on ongoing training and team development.
Conduct regular audits to maintain and continually improve food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
Oversee completion of daily paperwork, including inventories and statistical reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain high standards of hospitality for both guests and clients.
Ensure timely payroll completion in collaboration with the scheduling team.
Support the team with operational needs and take food briefs from clients, collaborating with the culinary team to implement changes.
You'll be set up for success if you have: Experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume, multi-outlet environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for coaching and development.
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail, especially regarding safety standards.
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, and maintain punctuality.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in IT and numeracy, with experience managing rotas, payroll, and operational audits.
Commitment to maintaining and improving exacting standards of food safety and cleanliness.
