Senior Insurance Underwriter

Senior Insurance Underwriter £60,000 + Yearly Bonus of £15,000 + Benefits + Hybrid Working!
My client one of the most well respected organisations based in Leeds City Centre is looking to recruit a highly experienced Underwriter to be an integral part of the Professional and Management risks renewals team.
As a senior member of the team you will be required to be pro-active, build and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
Monitor and analyse broker activity to identify success and areas for improvement and provide feedback to the team leader.
You will have responsibility for renewals with a desire to be visible to both brokers and policyholders.
You will be responsible for handling a portfolio and risks, underwrite large and complex renewal cases within the defined underwriting authority whilst collaborating with the Claims team on complex cases to ensure best outcomes.
To be considered for this role you must have: - Strong experience of financial lines underwriting including Professional liability, Cyber and Management risks ideally The ability to review wordings, lead in the complexities of drafting clauses / endorsements and tailored wordings Ability to renew business whilst maintaining underwriting discipline ACII and/or similar qualification preferred CLD Recruitment (Leeds) Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
