We are looking for a part time Senior Health Care Support Worker.
The post will require working the following shift patterns:Monday - 0800-1800Thursday - 0800-1800Friday - 0830-1400Saturday - 1 saturday in 4 - 0900-1300The post will be mainly based at our main Bristol site at the Central Health Clinic, however, there will also be a requirement to work at various community clinics in Bristol, North Somerset and South Glos.
While the above working hours are essential currently, there may be flexibility in the future.
As the service develops we may also request you to change your working pattern and location.This is a permanent contract.
The vacancy is within sexual health services until 31.03.2025, and thereafter the post holder may be based in a different specialty.

You will be a Health Care Support Worker with previous experience in any setting.
You do not need to have previous sexual health experience but must need to demonstrate a genuine interest in the area.You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside and supporting a variety of health professionals.You will be comfortable working with a very diverse patient group.You will put our patients at the heart of what you do, be able to work under pressure, have excellent organisational skills and be an effective and flexible team member.You will be able to work flexibly according to the needs of the service.
A Senior Health Care Support Worker (SHCSW) is a core member of the team delivering direct care to patients and supporting registered practitioners to deliver high quality, compassionate health care to people in accordance with assessed needs and a care plan.You will carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare, or therapeutic tasks, under the direct or indirect supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner, in accordance with the Trust values.
