YOUR ROLEOur Contract Logistics team have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and influential Senior General Manager where you will lead multi-user operations.
These fast-paced sites embrace automation and operational best practices, providing essential logistics services such as inbound and outbound customer fulfilment, value-added services and the utilization of approved transport providers to our clients.
Therefore, we are looking for an individual who has proven experience of leading large operations, building management teams and developing client relationships.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Reporting into the Business Unit Director, you will be the onsite lead responsible for all aspects of budget creation and allocation, service level delivery and client relationship management.
Your change management and continuous improvement skills will be second to none as you will lead various optimization projects to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
You will also be responsible for driving a high-performance culture on all sites ensuring financial, operational and HSEQ targets are met at all times and implement strategies to form a management team that creates, sustains and embeds a culture of employee engagement as well as strong development and succession plans.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Our ideal candidate will have significant operational management experience ideally within a fast-paced ecommerce, FMCG or retail and consumer environment.
You will have demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships and possess strong people management skills with the ability to create a high-performance culture through coaching and development whilst implementing sustainable improvements to drive business performance.
Strong commercial acumen with experience of leading and motivating large teams are also critical requirements for this role.
