On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a Senior Fire Safety Consultant for a 12 Month contract based in London.

As a Senior Fire Safety Consultant, your main responsibilities will be: * To obtain and review all current fire safety documentation from Network Rail.
* To ensure all documents meet the Network Rail Fire Risk Management Strategy and relevant legislation.
* Conducting a non-intrusive site visit to understand the layout and identify key fire safety provisions.
* Meeting with the Station Manager and Person Responsible for Fire Safety (PRFS), Commercial property and other stakeholders to discuss fire safety provisions.
* To document findings from the site visit, including the condition of fire safety equipment and emergency exits.
* To summarise the verified fire safety strategy for all areas of the station.
* Assisting Network Rail in producing fire strategy drawings and documents for the managed stations.
* Outlining active and passive fire safety provisions in a comprehensive report.
Essential: * Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety Management, or a related field.
* Professional certification (e.g., MIFireE).
* Experience in the use and application of codes such as BS9992 * Experience on preparing fire strategies on railway infrastructure * Strong analytical skills for conducting gap analyses and scenario testing.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations.
