Senior Financial Accountant

Senior Financial Accountant Milton Keynes 3 days onsite £50,000 - £55,000 + 20% Bonus Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a well-established and organisation operating in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function across the UK and Ireland, reporting directly to the Chief Accountant.
As a key member of the team, you will deliver high-quality financial outputs, ensure compliance, and support the organisation's growth by providing insightful financial analysis and process improvements.

Responsibilities include managing the fixed asset register, overseeing cash flow processes, and preparing VAT returns for both the UK and Ireland, with robust internal controls in place.
You will reconcile balance sheets for key areas such as inventory, taxation, and accruals, while providing detailed analysis of monthly movements.
Additionally, you will handle group reporting requirements, support statutory audits, and ensure compliance with internal control frameworks.
The role also involves preparing forecasts, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, and driving improvements across financial processes.

The ideal candidate will be a Fully or Newly qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with experience managing finance functions across multiple regions.
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, particularly in Excel, are essential, alongside a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders are critical to success.
