We are seeking a senior engineer or geologist with at least 5 years' experience working in the ground investigation industry to join our award-winning team based in Harrogate (although candidates could also be based our of Glasgow).
On joining, you'll support and deliver the technical aspects on a wide range of projects in Northern England and Scotland.

Key responsibilities - Knowledgeable of ground investigation techniques and ability to arrange and manage site investigations and projects.
- Responsible for organising and managing ground investigations, sampling programmes, and site supervision as needed.
- Preparation of health and safety documentation.
- Support and development of more junior team members.
- Ability to write proposals and develop strong client relationships.
- Assessing data and writing factual reports.
- Commitment to continued professional development.
- Liaison between site teams and the project director.
Attributes The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience: - Have a BSc in a STEM discipline, such as geology, engineering geology, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
- Working towards chartership in a relevant discipline.
- Awareness of relevant legislation and best-practice guidance.
- Be willing to work outdoors and travel to suit the needs of the projects.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage and work to tight deadlines.
- Good organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Must possess a full UK Driving Licence, with ability and willingness to travel as needed for projects.
