Williams Lea employees, nearly 7000 people worldwide, who provide efficient business services at client sites in often complex and highly regulated environments, from centralised Williams Lea onshore facilities, and through best cost company offshore locations.Purpose of role The Senior Document Production Associate position is responsible for providing word processing and/or document production services for our clients.
An experienced position delivering exceptional customer service to our clients by providing timely and accurate document production.
Expert experience in handling edits, conversions, formatting, creation, comparisons, etc.
for requesting client personnel.
The position requires expertise in software applications used for document production, as well as speed and accuracy in a high-volume, high-pressure production environment.
The Senior Document Production Associate has advanced ability to troubleshoot problems with software/hardware programs and provide instruction/training to others in the department.
Role is responsible for the day-to-day production of work for a shift or site.Key responsibilities Utilise appropriate logs and/or tracking software for all document production workIntakes work requests from the client, including clarification of job instructions and negotiation of deadlines with the requester.
Seeks alternate solutions to deadline requests, as neededThoroughly assess job request and ensure appropriate completion of job tasks throughout task lifecyclePrioritises work requests across team and coordinates/balances multiple projects following established guidelines, especially when working with escalated deadlines or issuesPerform work in document production, proofreading, intake and workflow coordination functions as neededUse established procedures, standards and formats to edit, proof, convert, create, transcribe or otherwise complete document production requests to client satisfactionParticipate in training of new staff and with the continued development of current staff where appropriateSupport management team with the compilation of monthly reportingDemonstrate proficiency in using equipment/technology/software and hardware necessary to perform job functions Communicate with team members, lead, supervisor or client on job or deadline concernsMeet contracted deadlines for service delivery to our clientsTroubleshoot basic software or hardware problemsHelp to foster a proactive environment of continuous service enhancement and relationship building with the clientPerform quality assurance on work, as requestedAdhere to Williams Lea policies, in addition to client policiesUse equipment and supplies in a cost-efficient mannerPersonal attributesMinimum 3-5 years document production experience preferably in a legal, banking or large corporate environmentDocument production, word processing experience preferred.Advanced skills in the use MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong keyboarding and typing skillsAdept with other software programs for editing and/or creating documents.
Familiar with other software programs for editing and/or creating documents Strong attention to detail; able to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyMust have good organisational skillsMust be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely mannerAbility to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and informationAble to exercise good judgment to make decisions that conform to business needs and policyGood problem-solving skills, with the ability and understanding of when to escalate a problem to a supervisory levelAbility to maintain professional composure when working with immediate deadlinesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a teamAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritise work, balance projects and meet deadlines in a timely mannerStrong attention to detail with good organizational skills and emphasis on accuracy and qualityAbility to troubleshoot more complex or advanced tasks, equipment, or software concerns on own; understands when to escalate a problem to a supervisory levelExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate questions and/or suggestions to client and other team members in a professional and customer service-oriented mannerMust be self-motivated with a positive attitudeProven customer service skills are required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationshipsAbility to work overtime as neededRewards and BenefitsWe believe in supporting our employees in both their professional and personal lives.
