Job Title: Senior Detail Designer - Outfit Location: Strathclyde, Glasgow Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Marine Secondary Industry: Engineering Salary: Up to £40.64/hr Umbrella Job Duties: The Senior Detail Designer - Outfit will be responsible for creating detailed designs for outfitting within the marine and defence industry.
This includes producing accurate technical drawings, collaborating with engineers and other team members, ensuring designs meet industry standards and regulations, and providing support throughout the production process.
Required Qualifications: A relevant degree in design or engineering Proven experience in detail design within the marine and defence sector Strong knowledge of industry-specific software and tools Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Education: A degree in design or engineering related field Experience: Prior experience in detail design within the military and defence sector Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools Strong attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Knowledge of industry standards and regulations Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in relevant design or engineering fields Experience working on outfit design projects in a similar industry Working Conditions: The role of Senior Detail Designer - Outfit will involve working in an office environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and occasional travel to client sites.
The position is full-time and operates within IR35 regulations.
