Sizewell-C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, playing a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.

Work to date has primarily focused on enabling works for site readiness.

Client focus - Deliver on our promise: You will work as part of the senior construction delivery team, taking direction from construction lead and project senior leadership team, providing guidance to wider team.
You will build relationships to manage and influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
You will build a strong working relationship with your clients and support the construction lead in turning the client's vision into a deliverable onsite plan.
Plan, manage, monitor and coordinate the construction works, reporting to the construction site director.
Support the review and approval of contractor risk managements by the PC team.
Support the on-going development of the construction phase plan, and its implementation and compliance on site.
Support and monitor arrangements for managing health and safety throughout the construction phase.
Consult and engage with workers about their health, safety and welfare.
Monitor site to ensure that suitable welfare facilities are provided from the start and maintained throughout the construction phase.
Support and ensure that all workers have site-specific inductions, and any further information and training they need.
Support and monitor arrangements to prevent unauthorised access to the site, wherever practicable.

You will support the senior construction delivery team in influenc ing the long-term development of strategy for a function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.

You will provide technical expertise and support to Delivery Team s, creat ing a culture of ownership, promoting roles and responsibilities.
You'll need to have: Degree or other industry recognised qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or similar related sector.
You have tertiary qualifications in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or construction management, or equivalent vocational training and experience.
You are SMSTS or IOSH qualification holder.
Experienced on medium to large scale infrastructure civil projects.
Experience in the delivery of more than one of the key disciplines, -Highways, Rail, Utilities, Site Establishment, Earthworks, Piling.
Good knowledge of health and safety and CDM requirements.
Ability to build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
You'll also have: Membership of MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS / MICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Construction management expertise.
Developing commercial and financial acumen.
Experience leading parts of construction projects within large, diverse teams.
Experience of building relationships with key stakeholders.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
