At LifeSearch, our Senior Compliance Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting our compliance culture.

What you'll be doing: Youll be a key player in ensuring LifeSearch remains ahead of regulatory changes while delivering the best possible outcomes for our customers.
Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, youll work closely with leaders and teams across the business to promote a culture of compliance and ensure adherence to FCA regulations.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Guiding the business on compliance matters, providing practical and timely advice.
Monitoring and interpreting FCA regulations, ensuring LifeSearch is always up to date and compliant.
Leading regulatory horizon scanning and advising on changes that impact the business.
Maintaining and reviewing compliance policies, supporting regular updates to keep them fit for purpose.
Collaborating on regulatory reporting, financial promotion approvals, and onboarding Introducer Appointed Representatives.
Acting as a subject matter expert for compliance in key projects and initiatives.
Supporting the Head of Compliance with maintaining the SMCR responsibilities map.
Delivering on all Consumer Duty obligations to ensure the best outcomes for our customers.
What we're looking for: At least 4 years of experience in a compliance role within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
In-depth knowledge of the FCA Handbook and its application.
Strong strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to assess risks pragmatically.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and explain complex regulations clearly.
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft applications.
A proactive, calm, and collaborative approach, even in a busy environment.
