Your mission Key Responsibilities : Legislative Monitoring : Continuously monitor and track legislative and policy developments at both EU and national levels, ensuring timely communication of updates to relevant teams.
Regulatory Research and Analysis : Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of regulatory changes, policies, and legal frameworks impacting the renewable energy sector in the EU and UK, alongside cross-industry regulations with broad applicability, including those affecting foreign entities operating within the region.
Interpretation and Recommendations : Provide regulatory interpretation, actionable insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders on regulatory matters and their operational implications.
Strategic Compliance Development : Develop regulatory strategies to ensure compliance and support business growth across multiple European markets.
Training and Guidance : Deliver training and guidance on key regulatory changes and compliance obligations to promote understanding and adherence within internal teams.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration : Work closely with various departments to ensure company-wide alignment with regulatory requirements and promote a unified approach to compliance.
Documentation Management : Prepare, update, and maintain internal and external compliance documentation.
Your profile Qualifications & Skills : Educational Background : PhD in Law with a minimum of 5 years' experience in legal, regulatory, or industry research, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
Regulatory Knowledge : Strong understanding of EU and UK regulatory frameworks, with renewable energy experience as a strong advantage.
Analytical Skills : Exceptional research and analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory information and convey it as clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Language Proficiency : High proficiency in English as the primary working language.
Communication-level proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
Additional language skills, such as German or French, is considered an advantage.
Collaboration and Independence : Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Communication Skills : Strong communication skills for effective interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
